Calum is a theatrical Sound Designer & Composer. He specialises in immersive and binaural techniques, and creates work in all areas of live performance and digital media. From audio-drama to theatre, Calum is passionate about using sound to tell transformative stories that bring people and communities together through collective experience.

"I often get asked what kind of sound designer I am... You could say I am the bridge between a composer and a sound designer; meaning that I can create audio content and music for plays and audio-dramas, but I can also design and build complex sound systems for theatrical spaces. I pride myself on being dramaturgically engaged with all my projects and regardless of the size, scale or role, my main passion is to help deliver quality experiences for audiences"

 

Calum runs The Audio Story Company, creating unique audio-immersive content and live performances for children and families.
